On the eve of ANZAC Day 2025, I will be trekking 20km from midnight to dawn as part of the Midnight to Dawn Anzac Service Trek to raise funds for support Trek2Health, an organisation founded to provide stigma-free services to support the physical and mental health of our local frontline workers and veterans.
I believe that it is incredibly important to support our local frontline workers and veterans who provide for a safer community.
With friends and family in the QPS, QAS and QFS and having served in the ADF, this trek and the work of Trek2Health mean a lot to me.
I am hugely excited to support the incredible work of Trek2Health and I would love your support in reaching (and maybe exceeding) my fundraising goal.
The route taken consists of an 20.0km walk via city streets onto the Brisbane river walkway towards Toowong, after some local streets crossing to the Western motorway, passing through Brisbane Botanic Gardens into Mt Coot-tha Forest to commence the climb up to the lookout at Mt. Coot-tha. Continuing in a westerly direction along fire trails and down the western side of Mt. Coot-tha, along local roads and tracks that take us to ANZAC memorial Park – Walton Street Bridge, The Gap by 0515 in time for the official dawn service.
